The steam-punk setting of the omnia:arts studio is that of a home/art gallery, but with the results one gets from larger more expensive recording facilities. It's poetic, it's punk, and it's also professional.
The Studio is centered around a Yamaha DM2000 digital mixing console and features racks of world class analog hardware, the latest recording and mixing software, a selection of instruments, drums, and amps, an engineer with nearly two decades of experience, and operates in an acoustically treated professional home studio with 24/7 access to other larger facilities in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
There is a vast amount of very talented musicians in the Twin Cities and omnia:arts has had the fortune of working with many of them. Professional top of the line musicians can be provided for any project regardless of size, genre, and complexity.
Combined with the best software and hardware available omnia:arts also offers mastering with very affordable rates, giving your tracks that extra radio/web ready shine.
As musicians we can also compose music for the artist, or for TV, radio, film and online, as well as add instruments if needed.

Dozens of studios, colleges, homes, and stages across the US have ordered one or more custom built mic preamps, compressors, mastering consoles, and guitar amplifiers. A 3 in 4 out monitor controller with master section type functionality has just left the shop and headed to a producer's home where it will be helping them to make great mixes.
Two weeks ago a custom built two channel API type mic preamp was being used by a guitarist recording his demo who wanted some extra mojo and modern flavor to his tone. The classic circuitry adds a depth, tone, and dimension that plug-ins and other modern gear struggle to achieve.
Formerly omnia:audio (long sad story) omnia:arts also builds several pieces that are modern recreations of classic gear. The H69 dual channel EQ is available with several different gain stages using the incredible filters of the legendary Helios consoles but also offering tube, DOA, and Neve flavored gain stages that can add an extra dimension and gives the engineer/producer a nice palate from which to work from.
